दूसरों के लिए ख़बर लिखते हैं… दूसरों के लिए लड़ते हैं… दूसरों के लिए आवाज़ उठाते हैं… लेकिन कभी खुद ख़बर नहीं बनते, ना अपने लिए लड़ सकते हैं, ना अपनी आवाज़ उठा सकते हैं… ब्रेकिंग न्यूज़ के लिए खपने वाला प्रोड्यूसर हो या फील्ड में खबरों के पीछे भागने वाला रिपोर्टर, 30-35 की उम्र में अपने शरीर को 55 साल का बना लेते हैं… लेकिन बदले में क्या मिलता है?
तीन सौ लोग निकाल दिए गए, कहीं कोई ख़बर नहीं है… सच्चाई यही है… नौकरी तो छोड़िए दूसरों को हेडलाइन बनाने वाला टीवी पत्रकार अगर मर भी जाए तो खुद उसके चैनल पर टिकर पर तक खबर नहीं चलेगी (इस सच का मुझे साक्षात अनुभव हो चुका है)… जिनके कहने पर प्रोड्यूसर-रिपोर्टर अपने परिवार की खुशियों को लुटा कर काम करते हैं वो संपादक भी चुप थे और चुप रहेंगे… उन्हे क्या फर्क पड़ता है, उन लोगों ने तो “डॉन कारलीनो” की तरह माफिया संगठन BEA बना रखा है… जानते हैं इस संगठन का काम क्या है— एक दूसरे की मदद करो और अपनी-अपनी नौकरी बचाए रखो…
कल तक मुझे अपने पेशे पर बहुत गर्व था, आज शर्म आ रही है… मुझे लगता था कि भगवान ने मुझे ऐसा पेशे के लिए चुना है जिसमें मैं किसी के काम आ सकता हूं… लेकिन सब झूठ है, जब हम अपनो के ही काम नहीं आ सकते तो दूसरों की मदद क्या करेंगे…
मैं आज दिल से कह रहा हूं कि मैं ये सब छोड़ना चाहता हूं, दो रोटियां तो कहीं भी मिल जाएंगी… कमाते तो जीबी रोड के लोग भी, लेकिन फिर भी वो हमसे अच्छे हैं… कम से कम मैं मरने के बाद टिकर पर खबर नहीं बनना चाहता, टिकर पर खबर बनने से कहीं अच्छा है खामोश मौत मर जाना…

1. We all with u in it News channels need to give same respect to all the employees who work day night and represent truth .Its really heart breaking and shocking that no one raised voice against it.
2. “Journalism can never be silent: That is its greatest virtue and its greatest fault. It must speak, and speak immediately, while the echoes of wonder, the claims of triumph and the signs of horror are still in the air.”and this issue has to be raised to a big level no one has right to fire the employees who have given there souls and heart to make there respective channels No.1 .Its really shameful to through those hardworking people like this. .Its a black day in the field of Journalism .As a Member of freelance journalist association I am with all my friends who have been effected by this worse decision.
