IBN7 मार दुदुंभी नगाड़े पीट-पीटकर हमें बता रहा है कि वो अब नए लुक में हमारे सामने हैं, पहले से कहीं ज्यादा धारदार और रंगरोगन के साथ. चैनल पर गया तो एकबारगी बैकड्रॉप यानि वॉल पहले के मुकाबले काफी अच्छा लगा और लगा कि किसी वर्ल्ड क्लास ग्राफिक्स डिजायनर ने इसे तैयार किया है.
लेकिन बाकी स्लग,एस्टर्न और यहां तक कि फांट देखे तो 7 लिखने के तरीके को छोड़कर बाकी ऐसा लग रहा है जैसे किसी चैनल से नहीं शर्तिया इलाज हाशिम दवाखाना के पोस्टर से गुजर रहे हों. आलोचना के बीच ये सोच ही रहा था कि कहां और क्या बेहतर किया जा सकता है, एल शेप में तभी केशकिंग का विज्ञापन ऐसे चिपका आया कि अपने बेबाक जुबान,बेखौफ अंदाज वाले आशुतोष की मानो लंका लगाने के लिए आए हों.
अब देखिए आप ही, ऐसा लग रहा है कि इस हाशिम दवाखाना की पर्ची के बीच आशुतोष एंकर नहीं,पासपोर्ट साइज फोटो चिपकाकर अभ्यर्थी यानी एप्लीकेंट लग रहे हों.
Before commenting, let me make it clear that I am a little read lay man but my wide life-experience and readings and Google make-up for this to certain extent. Criticizing mere looks of a channel is fine. In turn, it is expected from the critic to be as accurate in his writing as possible. Carelessness with words depicts his non-seriousness.
In the above small write-up my eyes stuck at two places and lo, my hunch was corroborated by much relied Google too. In the opening sentence, the third word ‘दुदुंभी’ seems wrongly written. Probably it should have been ‘दुंदुभी’. Google shows over 10,600 entries for the later, while for the earlier, just about 1240. I go by the majority.
A technical TV term also finds place in the article which is written wrongly. I think the author means “Aston” by “एस्टर्न” .

“A synonym for lower thirds, the graphics on the bottom part of a television screen. An on-screen overlaid graphic, usually giving the name of the speaker, reporter or place in frame. Name derived from Aston Broadcast Systems Ltd., an early manufacturer of character generator (CG) equipment.”
