Bhopal/13 Feb. 2013/ Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism & Communication is organising on Alumni Meet on 16 February 2013. The programme is scheduled to begin at 10.00 AM at University campus situated at M P Nagar, Zone I. This programme has been organised to meet and exchange experiences of the old & new students. Apart from ex-student and the present students, the ex-employees, ex-officers and ex-vice chancellor will also participate in the meet. The chief guest of the meet is honorable Shri Laxmikant Sharma, the Higher education and Public Relations Minister of the M.P. Govt. The keynote speaker is senior journalist Shri Rahul Dev. The Ex-vice chancellor of the university Shri Achutanand Mishra, Shri Ramsharan Joshi, Dr. Nandkishore Trikha, Shri Sanjay Salil, Shri Majoj Manu & Shri Omkarashwar Pandey are also among the senior journalist to felicitate the occassion.
The university has been running various courses in the field of journalism and communication since its inception. University runs Journalism, Mass Communication, Broadcasting Journalism, Electronic Media, Computer, Management & Library Science courses. The ex-students of these courses are working at leading positions in the national & international organisations. All these students are invited for the meet. These students will brief the new student with the new challenges of the various streams and give suggestions on their preparations for the future in the industry. The event is divided in three sessions. First session is inaugural session second session is devoted to departmental exchange of thoughts. Third is concluding session. After which there will be some cultural performances for entertainment also.
